Eduardo Santos is a Brazilian Grammy Winner recording engineer and musical producer. With a degree in electronics, he began his career in one of the most prestigious Brazilian recording studios and was quickly promoted to studio manager. He also works as a live recording and PA engineer, having recorded several live international acts. Additionally, Eduardo has extensive experience with music production and scoring for TV and Cinema. He produced, recorded and mixed more than 1000 advertising phonograms and songs for featured films. In addition to his activities in the different audio facets, he creates and develops special projects focused on developing and improving the sound and technology market in Brazil.
As a consultant for different studio projects, he is always looking for the best solutions to the challenges presented in each endeavor. Throughout his professional career, Eduardo has earned several industry awards, with the major one being the 51st American Grammy Award in the category of Best Contemporary Jazz Album for his work with American trumpeter Randy Brecker, making him one of the few Brazilian professionals graced with this award. An important fact is that this project has been fully developed and executed at the Banda Sonora studios, which he owned in partnership with maestro Ruriá Duprat, where they worked on the choice of the artist repertoire, regimentation, arrangements, recording, mixing and mastering.
